🎨 Art Around the World: Europe, Africa, Central America & Mexico, and South America

Get ready for a creative adventure! In this 16-week class, students will travel across four continents, discovering new cultures, animals, traditions, and landscapes through art. Each four-week unit explores a different region with exciting hands-on projects that burst with color, pattern, and texture.

  • Europe (Weeks 1–4): Journey through castles, cathedrals, and countryside while exploring portraits, architecture, stained glass, and folk art traditions.

  • Africa (Weeks 5–8): Go on an art safari with zebras, elephants, giraffes, and chameleons while learning about African homes, crafts, and landscapes.

  • Central America & Mexico (Weeks 9–12): Celebrate culture and festivals with sugar skulls, molas, oxcart wheels, tacos, and vibrant carnival creations.

  • South America (Weeks 13–16): Travel through the rainforest, paint sloths and toucans, and experiment with the colors and textures of traditional woven textiles.

✨ Students can join the full 16-week semester or sign up for a 4-week unit to explore one region of the journey. Either way, they’ll bring home a portfolio of artworks that celebrate creativity and culture from around the globe!
