Masters of Modern Art: Exploring Creativity from Van Gogh to Picasso

Duration: 12 Weeks, 1 Hour per Session

Join us on an exciting journey through the world of modern art as we explore the works of legendary artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Paul Cézanne, and Pablo Picasso. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will dive into the vibrant worlds of these masters, discovering their unique styles and creative processes. Each artist will be studied in depth, with students engaging in hands-on activities to create their own masterpieces inspired by these iconic figures.

In this class, we will:

• Experiment with Van Gogh’s expressive brushstrokes and bold color palettes.
• Explore Matisse’s innovative use of shapes and cut-outs.
• Delve into Chagall’s dreamlike scenes and symbolic imagery.
• Study Cézanne’s approach to form and perspective in still life.
• Experiment with Picasso’s abstract forms and multiple perspectives in Cubism.

By the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of art inspired by some of the most influential artists of the modern era. This class is perfect for budding artists eager to learn and create in a fun, supportive environment.
